CCHD to Evaluate Minority Youth Project

The Center for Community Health Development (CCHD) at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health will serve as the evaluators for the Legacy Foundation, which recently received funding from the Office of Minority Health as part of its national Minority Youth Tobacco Elimination Project (MYTEP). The Legacy Foundation will be providing training and other technical support to four MYTEP communities through August 2014, and CCHD faculty and staff will assist thefoundation in the evaluation of its technical assistance efforts as well as the overall MYTEP program. CCHD faculty and staff include Drs. Monica Wendel and Kenneth McLeroy, Kelly Drake, and Dr. Corliss Outley of the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences at Texas A&M University.
