Nursing faculty receive THECB grant

Two faculty members in the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Nursing recently received a grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) under the Nursing Innovation Grant Program Best Practices and Breaking the Bottleneck in Clinical Education Competitions.

Assistant professors Karen Landry, Ph.D., M.S.N., and Karen Kincaid, Ph.D., M.S.N., received $138,376 in partnership with Texas A&M University and Blinn College for “Virtual Simulation in Nursing Clinical Instruction.” Overall, the THECB awarded six two-year grants totaling $1,563,347.
