Nursing student awarded scholarship

Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Nursing student Christie Richter has been awarded a national Health Resources and Services Administration nursing scholarship designed to address critical nursing shortage needs.

As part of the scholarship, which covers tuition and fees and includes a monthly stipend, Richter will work in an area designated with a critical nursing shortage for at least two years after graduation.
