January 2011: Coming Soon: New online community

Exciting things are happening at the Texas A&M Health Science Center! We’re working hard to implement a new online community, and this new addition will complement our current TAMHSC website while offering greater connectivity to our friends, donors and alumni.

Alumni will enjoy a more enhanced online experience with the Texas A&M Health Science Center by registering for an online account. Registered users will have access to directories, profile updates, discussion groups and much more. Upon registration, you’ll obtain your “email for life” email address. This address will be your permanent email forwarding address and help keep you connected to the TAMHSC and your classmates.

In addition, friends and donors will find many features allowing them to enhance their relationship with the TAMHSC. In the new online community, donors will find a simplified donation process specific to their area of interest. Friends will be able to learn more about upcoming galas, golf tournaments, tailgating events, class reunions, mini-med school and other college specific events, as well as register online. Links to other social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn also are provided.

The final pieces are being put in place to roll out this online community soon. We look forward to growing the TAMHSC community with our friends, donors and alumni as we pursue the goals of providing excellent education, superior science and compassionate care.
