CSTR Grand Rounds Oct. 4

On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, the Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) Clinical Science & Translational Research Institute (CSTR) will host its monthly Grand Rounds with Theresa W. Fossum, DVM, Ph.D., from 12–1 p.m.

Dr. Fossum’s presentation, “Bridging the Gap between Clinical Medicine and Translational Research in Cardiovascular Disease and Cancer,” will be held in the Health Professions Education Building room LL44 in Bryan.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch.

Dr. Fossum is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Tom and Joan Read Chair in Veterinary Surgery, the Director and Founder of the  Texas A&M Institute for Preclinical Studies (TIPS), the Director of Clinical Programs and Biomedical Devices at the Michael E. DeBakey Institute, and a Professor of Surgery at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.

CSTR Grand Rounds are scheduled for the first Tuesday each month from 12–1 p.m.
