Dr. Baker elected as 2012 Academy Fellowship

Dr. Kenneth Baker

Dr. Kenneth M. Baker, M.D., FAHA, FAICS, Professor and Vice Chair, Department of Medicine, Director, Division of Molecular Cardiology, Mayborn Chair in Cardiovascular Research, was recently elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (IACS).

The IACS was established by renowned cardiovascular scientists, surgeons and cardiologists to provide the organizational structure for the world-wide sharing of research and education information in the field of heart health. The 250 Fellows in the IACS are selected for their commitment to in promoting cardiovascular activities in the fields of science, medicine and surgery.

Dr. Baker has an impressive record of publications and awards and continues to conduct research in cardiac function and molecular signaling in Temple, TX.
