Dr. Dudley P. Baker

The Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine wishes to congratulate Dr. Dudley P. Baker on his upcoming retirement and for his outstanding career and long service to the College of Medicine.

Dr. Baker served as an original member of the College of Medicine faculty when the school opened in 1977. He was the first chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and served in this role for Scott & White for 30 years. During this time he was Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He taught and mentored thousands of students and residents and served as an invaluable role model. He has been honored by his department and peers by naming the Dudley P. The College of Medicine is grateful for all he has done and would like to formally thank Dr. Baker for 35 years of outstanding service.
