Family Medicine Center at 1301 Memorial Drive, Bryan

BRYAN–On Monday, February 21 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine’s Family Medicine Residency will host a blood drive at their clinic at 1301 Memorial Drive in Bryan to benefit two Bryan-College Station residents.

At least 80 donors of any blood type are needed.  Donors are encouraged to eat a low-fat meal before donating blood. The average drawing time is seven to 10 minutes, and the entire process takes approximately 30 minutes.  All donors will receive a T-shirt.

Organizers emphasize that there is no substitute for blood, and a critical number of donations are needed every day to meet the need for blood in the region.

The blood drive is sponsored by St. Luke’s Blood Center.  Click the map above for directions to the Family Medicine Residency’s Family Medicine Center, or for more information, call Elizabeth Szymanski at (979) 776-8440, ext. 103.
