McLeroy to participate in CIHR review

Regents Professor Kenneth McLeroy, Ph.D., M.S., of the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health, has been asked to participate in the review of grant applications for the Canadian Institutes for Health Research. The Canadian Institutes for Health Research is the equivalent of the National Institutes of Health in the United States. The review panel meeting will be April 27-28 in Ottawa, Canada, and will review programmatic grants in health and health equity. Like its U.S. counterparts, the grant review committee will review grant applications in this funding area and make recommendations for funding.
