MREB Opening Soon

Progress on the Texas A&M Health Science Center Bryan campus continues with the latest addition – the Medical Research and Education Building (MREB), above right. Opening in April, the 131,000-square-foot facility will have seminar rooms, a scientific display area, College of Medicine offices and laboratories.

Already open is the Health Professions Education Building (HPEB), above left. At approximately 132,500 square feet, it features a simulation center, offices for the College of Medicine and College of Nursing, seminar and lecture rooms with video conference capabilities, library, teaching and learning resource center, and an information technology help center.

“These premier facilities at our new campus in Bryan will provide an excellent environment for student learning and basic biomedical research,” says Roderick E. McCallum, Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs. “Thanks to the State of Texas, The Texas A&M University System and the City of Bryan, the new campus has become a reality. We are very proud of facilities that will educate and train more health professionals for Texas.”
