SRPH Dean Blakely Ranked Among “100 Awesome Deans of Public Health.”

Craig Blakely, Ph.D., M.P.H., dean of the Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) School of Rural Public Health, earned the No. 23 spot on the “100 Awesome Deans of Public Health” list compiled by MPHProgramsList.com, an independent student guide for those interested in graduate public health, public administration, public policy and health administration programs. The list highlights the outstanding leadership of deans of public health departments in universities around the country.

MPHProgramsList.com says college students considering a career in public health can be confident the schools on this list have a high-quality public health program being led by a visionary leader. Rankings were determined by the reputation of the institution along with the personal achievements of each dean.
The TAMHSC-School of Rural Public Health offers master’s and doctoral degree programs and is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as a Top 25 school of public health.
