State Employee Charitable Campaign under way

By Russ Gibbs, D.Min., CFRE, Vice President for Institutional Advancement

We’re excited to announce the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) kicked off Sept. 1. Last year, the campaign raised $10.14 million, reaffirming Texas as one of the largest state charitable campaigns in the nation.

Created in 1993, the SECC is governed by state employees and serves numerous charities. The wide variety of giving options has allowed the campaign to grow every year since it began. Combined with the ease of payroll deduction, state employees have made a huge impact on people and services statewide.

Thanks to everyone for their past support of the SECC, and we look forward to another great year of charitable giving at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Remember that the Texas A&M Health Science Center Foundation is a choice for your charitable donations!
