Students conduct “Health Promotion Tailgate” with Police Department

The Community Health Promotion Student Association at the Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) School of Rural Public Health partnered with Texas AgriLife Extension and the College Station Police Department and conducted a “Health Promotion Tailgate” to educate people about responsible alcohol use this past Saturday after the Texas A&M vs. Kansas football game. Approximately 400-500 individuals received alcohol-related educational materials and participated in a  variety of activities including sobriety tests and a peddle-cart course while wearing disorienting beer goggles.
