A new partnership between Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry and the Foremost Family Health Center means more dental care for East Dallas youngsters and increased training for dental students and pediatric dentistry residents alike.
Whitney Garney, M.P.H., research and evaluation associate of the Center for Community Health Development (CCHD) at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health, has been awarded the best doctoral student research abstract by the Community Health Planning and Policy Development section of the American Public Health Association (APHA).
Mohammad Murtuza, a graduate student pursuing his master of public health degree with a concentration in border health at the McAllen Campus of the School of Public Health, was one of only two students selected to receive the Gerry C. Gunnin, Ph.D. Public Health Memorial Scholarship.
