Colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the U.S. among cancers that affect both men and women—but it is also one of the most preventable cancers.

Physicians recommend that all people aged 45 or older have regular screenings to reduce their risk for colorectal cancer.

Texas A&M Health provides FREE colorectal cancer screening tests to uninsured or qualifying underinsured individuals in the Brazos Valley through the Texas C-STEP program (@texascstep). Speak to a local community health worker about your screening options by calling 979.436.0443, or visit for more information.
