Dec. 2011: Students participate in QEP video contest

Texas A&M Health Science Center students are encouraged to participate in Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) activities by creating a video to represent CARE – Critically Appraise Relevant Evidence. CARE, an essential part of the process for reaffirmation of accreditation, focuses on improving students’ evidence-based decision-making and critical-thinking skills (https://vital-record.local/2011/08/12/qep-goals-and-outcomes/) in their chosen fields.

The winning video will be announced and presented at convocation Jan. 20, 2012. The college/school will receive a $500 scholarship and plaque; each student team member will receive a $25 iTunes gift card.
