Texas A&M Health opens new women’s care clinic in College Station

Women’s Care Plus provides high-quality gynecological care for women of all ages, plus mental health and wellness

Texas A&M Health has opened a new clinic in College Station dedicated exclusively to women’s health. Women’s Care Plus supports the health and wellness of women through most phases of their life, from pre-teen to post-menopausal years, and focuses on providing high-quality gynecological care in a comfortable environment.

The practice is located at 1602 Rock Prairie Road in Suite 3400 on the campus of St. Joseph Health-College Station Hospital. Comprehensive women’s care services at the clinic range from routine wellness exams to addressing difficult hormone disorders, sexual and reproductive health, and many other health issues women face today. Plus, women’s mental health and wellness are offered to support patients’ complete health.

Michele Garant, DO, leads the clinical team, which also includes Tiffany Wilson, FNP. Garant is a board-certified doctor of osteopathic medicine with more than 20 years of experience in gynecology. After completing medical school and residency, she practiced for two years in Ventura, CA, and moved to College Station in 2004. She and her family have lived in Aggieland since then, where she has been a valuable physician leader. Garant also serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Primary Care and Population Health at the Texas A&M College of Medicine.

Tiffany Wilson is a certified family nurse practitioner with experience providing high quality, evidence-based primary gynecologic care. Before joining Texas A&M Health, Wilson worked in the A. P. Beutel Health Center Women’s Clinic where she provided care to university students, trained new hires and precepted nurse practitioner and medical students.

“I look forward to continued service of all women in the Brazos Valley,” Garant said. “I am so excited to be a part of Texas A&M Health educating future health care providers in the primary care of women. The opportunity to begin teaching again and being involved with the students, faculty and staff at Texas A&M is an awesome opportunity and I am already enjoying this new venture!”

In addition to women’s health care services, facial rejuvenation services are offered at Women’s Care Plus to help patients look as vibrant as they feel.

Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To request an appointment, call 979.693.0737.
